ROCKWALL – The public is invited to come hear City of Fate Police Lieutenant Tim Conner speak at the monthly family violence prevention meeting hosted by Americans Ending Abuse and the Lillian Smith Family Violence Foundation, Tuesday, Oct. 6, 7 pm, at the Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club, 2600 Champions Dr. in Rockwall.

The mission of Americans Ending Abuse is to make the changes needed in our culture, courts and legislatures to bring an end to domestic, dating, child and sexual abuse locally, statewide and across America, according to family violence survivor and founder of both organizations, J.J. Smith.

The affiliated non-profit Lillian Smith Family Violence Foundation provides support and services to family violence victims and their families.

More volunteers and board members are being sought to help both non-profits launch their new child abuse prevention campaign across Rockwall Co.

Co-sponsors include la Madeleine Country French Café, McDonalds, Kroger, Rockwall Psychiatry & TMS Center, JBS Legal – Attorney Jenni Barnes Smith, TCB Construction and The Rockwall News.
