ROWLETT – A free fireworks extravaganza and live entertainment by one of the nation’s all-time most popular country rock bands, Exile, will highlight the City of Rowlett’s “Fireworks on Main” event, Monday, July 4, from 6-10 pm at Pecan Grove Park (behind Wet Zone Waterpark), located at 5300 Main St.
Fireworks begin at 9:45 pm. Exile takes the stage at 8 pm, preceded by the high energy DFW dance band Mars Hill at 6 pm.
Festival-style foods, such as brisket and sno-cones, and children’s activities, including a bounce house, face painting and a game truck, will also be provided.
Parking will be available at Rowlett High School, Herfurth Park, Coyle Middle School and the DART station. Shuttle transportation will be available with pickup locations at Coyle Middle School, Herfurth Park, and the DART station. Handicap accessible parking will be located on site adjacent to the event and activities.
